I ordered this because I needed a new one because mine was pretty old. I specifically liked it because it has that gel padding in the handles. That’s what I always look for because it’s comfortable for me. Sadly I received one that did not have that. ☹️ I really was hoping to get one the same as the photo.
about 1 month agoThis was an impulse buy since I usually don't curl my eyelashes given that my eyelashes are naturally long already but this eyelash curler works well. Not as good as other ones I've tried in the past but it gets the job done!! The only bad thing i can say about it is that you have to curl your lashes again and again for it to work.
3 months agoI have been using this for a week now. I don't know why but it just is so hard for me to use this on my left eyelashes. Haha. But I really love this curler, by being kind of heavy, I feel like it helps curling my lashes faster. I use a hair dryer to heat this and make the effect last longer. I also love the overall look and packaging of this product. Definitely worth the investment. 😁
12 months agoAt first, I really thought this would be worth it. I thought the quality and the price would be reasonable but nope (somehow, yes). Well let's start with what I like about this curler — it doesn't hurt your eyelids! But! It doesn't curl your eyelashes instantly. You have to repeat & repeat curling it until you have your desired look. That's just the con but all in all, still satisfied.
over 2 years agoI was starting to lose hope getting my stubbornly straight lashes to curl up, until I found this curler. Being a student with no steady source of funds for more high-end makeup and tools just yet, no eyelash curler I'd bought before this around the same price point was able to help me out with my lash situation. I didn't even realize how big of a difference curling my lashes (with the right tool) could've made all this time before I discovered this product. I like to think I have fairly long lashes, but when I started using this product from Nippon, my eyes were opened (No pun intended, haha.)! If it weren't for the fact that it doesn't exactly fit my eye shape perfectly and that I have to take a little more time to achieve full effect (both concerns I don't really mind too much), this would've received a perfect 5 from me . This is not at all the perfect eyelash curler, but it's (beyond) good enough for its relatively affordable price!
almost 3 years agoI tried this product as I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to my Shu but sadly it didn't work for me. It takes a long time before I achieve the curl that I want and most of the time my lashes start to slowly fall down even before a mascara weighs them down. Good thing the grip is good and I wouldn't mind holding it for a bit longer than I should - when I'm not in a hurry. The search for that dupe is still on.
